Work in Progress : “Norwegian Dream”

Robert (19), en polsk innvandrer som jobber på en fiskefabrikk i Norge, har kommet for å tjene penger til å betale ned morens gjeld. Robert innser at han har følelser for kollegaen Ivar (19). I frykt for å miste posisjonen i en gruppe polakker på fabrikken, skjuler han følelsene sine, spesielt når det viser seg at Ivar er en aspirerende dragqueen.
Robert (19), a Polish immigrant working at a fish factory in Norway, has come to earn money to pay off his mother’s debts. Robert realizes he has feelings for his colleague Ivar (19). For fear of losing his position within a group of Poles at the factory, he hides his feelings, especially when it turns out that Ivar is an aspiring drag queen.

Leiv Igor Devold

Regissør og førsteamanuensis, NTNU. Devold debuted in Norwegian cinemas in 2015 with the documentary The Accidental Rock Star. The film was nominated for best sound and editing at the Norwegian Film Awards and won the Amanda-award for best editing. The film was also a nominee to best Scandinavian documentary, at CPH:DOX in Copenhagen. It won the audience award for best Norwegian film 2015 at the Kosmorama International Film Festival in Trondheim, where it also was awarded the Kanon-award for best sound.
